Two Serbian-Made Zolja Anti-Tank Weapons Found in North Mitrovica

Police units in North Mitrovica have seized two Zolja-type firearms in an abandoned residential complex, following the receipt of operational intelligence.

According to the Kosovo Police, the incident occurred on July 21 at approximately 14:05 on “Anka Spaic” street. Specialized police units, including explosive ordnance teams, were dispatched to the scene.

During the search, officers discovered and confiscated two Zolja anti-tank weapons, which are Serbian-made. The weapons have been taken as material evidence.

The State Prosecutor has ordered the initiation of a criminal case under the charge of “Unauthorized ownership, control, or possession of weapons.”

Investigations into the case are ongoing.

Kosovo Police reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring public safety and urged citizens to report any suspicious activity or information that may aid law enforcement efforts.
