Two Suspected Serbs Arrested for Incitement of Division in Gjilan

Cases of incitement and spreading of hatred, division, and intolerance among different groups, including racial, religious, ethnic, and others, are not uncommon in our country. A recent case of this nature is reported to have occurred in Gjilan, where two individuals were arrested.

The two suspected individuals, citizens of Serbia, were taken into custody by the Police due to their actions towards several citizens on “Abdullah Tahiri” street in Gjilan.

The suspects in this case are Branko Todorović and Nebojša Milković.

The incident is believed to have occurred while they were passing through Gjilan and stopped near a café, where they were observed wearing t-shirts with inscriptions promoting division.

As a result, several citizens felt provoked, and the incident was reported to the Police.

As a consequence, necessary actions were taken, and the State Prosecutor’s Office in the Special Prosecution of Kosovo was notified.

Under the prosecutor’s order, the suspects were released, and further investigative actions will be taken.
