The U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Policy, David Baker, has begun an official visit to Kosovo, the U.S. Embassy in Pristina announced.
According to the statement, during his visit, Baker will meet with senior officials from Kosovo’s institutions to discuss defense and security cooperation.
“During his visit, Mr. Baker will meet with senior Kosovar officials to discuss ongoing U.S.-Kosovo defense cooperation and joint efforts to promote regional security,” the embassy’s announcement stated.
This marks David Baker’s first official visit to Kosovo.
