The U.S. Embassy in Pristina has described last week’s crisis response exercise, conducted in coordination between the U.S. Embassy and the Kosovo Police, as a major success.
The exercise involved around 800 Kosovo Police officers, along with other specialized units, including forensics and KFOR.
Police dogs, drones, and other tactical vehicles were also deployed during the joint exercise.
“Last week’s joint crisis response exercise was a major success—reflecting the excellent coordination between the U.S. Embassy and the Kosovo Police. Nearly 800 Kosovo Police officers—along with firefighters and emergency responders and specialized units including SIU, SOU, EOD, UAS/Counter-UAS, Forensics, and Public Affairs—participated, with valuable support from RSO, MSG, PD, INL, ICITAP, MED, KFOR, LGF, and PSU. From dogs and drones to tactical vehicles and emergency teams, this exercise highlighted our interagency cooperation, operational readiness, and shared commitment to security,” the Embassy wrote in its statement.
