The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo has extended New Year’s greetings, conveying best wishes to all friends and partners across Kosovo.
“We wish that the coming year brings peace, prosperity, and shared progress. Happy New Year from all of us at the U.S. Embassy in Pristina,” the Embassy said in its statement.
In a video address featuring numerous Embassy staff members, the Embassy highlighted the meaningful cooperation throughout the year and the success of several American companies that have chosen to invest and contribute to the growth of Kosovo’s economy, reports Rks News.
“Our cooperation has helped build Kosovo’s private sector and expand opportunities. These partnerships are a reminder that when businesses in Kosovo work with the United States, they choose innovation, quality, and reliability. We look forward to supporting these partnerships in the future as well,” said the Head of the Economic Unit, Micah Savidge.
The Director for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Kevin Miles, stated that concrete steps have been taken in combating criminal organizations.
“We took significant steps to make both of our countries safer by working side by side with Kosovo’s security institutions on extradition operations, cybersecurity, and the fight against transnational criminal organizations and synthetic drugs. We made tangible progress toward our shared security goals,” Miles said.
