The United States is not expected to resume the planned strategic dialogue with Kosovo, which was suspended in September this year due to uncoordinated actions by the Kurti government.
The U.S. Embassy states that the U.S. is seeking concrete steps from Acting Prime Minister Kurti to reduce tensions and advance the shared goal of strengthening peace and stability as a foundation for mutual economic prosperity.
“As we have made clear to the interim government, the door is open for improving relations and resuming cooperation. However, this requires concrete steps from Acting Prime Minister Kurti to reduce tensions and advance our shared goal of strengthening peace and stability as a basis for mutual economic prosperity. We will continue to assess the actions of the interim government. We have nothing further to announce at this point,” the U.S. Embassy told RTV 21.
