The U.S. Embassy today shared a message regarding the honors paid by Acting Ambassador Anu Prattipati, together with President Vjosa Osmani, to the late President Ibrahim Rugova.
The Embassy stated that Rugova’s legacy and vision remain an inspiration both in Kosovo and around the world.
“Yesterday, Acting Ambassador Anu Prattipati joined President Vjosa Osmani in honoring Dr. Ibrahim Rugova on the 19th anniversary of his passing. His legacy and vision continue to inspire here in Kosovo and around the world.”
President Osmani, along with accredited ambassadors in the country, visited Rugova’s grave to pay their respects.
