The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo has issued an official statement regarding the visit of U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense David Baker and General Chris McKinney.
According to the Embassy, the American delegation met with President Vjosa Osmani, Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the Minister of Defense, the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), and the KFOR Commander.
The U.S. Embassy emphasized that during this visit, David Baker reinforced the U.S.-Kosovo defense partnership and discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation in support of regional peace and stability.
As part of the visit, the American official also visited Camp Bondsteel, where he met with American military personnel stationed in Kosovo.
