U.S. KFOR soldiers conducted patrols along the northern border of Kosovo on Thursday as part of their ongoing commitment to ensuring security and stability in the region.

KFOR stated that these patrols are part of their daily mission to create a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo.

“U.S. soldiers assigned to the Regional Command East of the NATO-led KFOR mission conducted a routine patrol along the administrative boundary line in northern Kosovo. These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to ensure a secure and safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo,” the statement read.

KFOR, led by NATO, continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244, contributing to a safe environment for all communities in Kosovo and ensuring freedom of movement impartially.

“KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission (EULEX), supporting security in line with their respective roles,” the official statement added.
