U.S. soldiers serving with KFOR, assigned to Regional Command-East (RC-East) as part of NATO’s mission in Kosovo, are conducting regular patrols along what KFOR refers to as the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) within their area of responsibility bordering Serbia and North Macedonia.

In a statement shared on social media, KFOR said these patrols are carried out throughout the year to maintain situational awareness, support stability and freedom of movement, monitor changes in the operational environment, and ensure a visible security presence.

According to KFOR, these activities are part of NATO’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo, while carrying out its mission in an impartial and transparent manner.
