One of the most significant agreements announced on Tuesday during the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is “the largest arms deal in history,” according to the White House.

In its announcement, the White House stated that the deal is valued at approximately $142 billion and includes the supply of “combat equipment and modern services from dozens of American defense companies” to Saudi Arabia.

At the same time, the White House revealed that Saudi Arabia will invest $600 billion in the United States, describing this commitment as part of a new strategic partnership between the two countries.

President Trump is expected to deliver a speech later today at the Investment Forum being held in Riyadh, where more details about the agreement and bilateral economic cooperation are expected to be disclosed.
