These efforts are part of KFOR’s ongoing mission to support all communities within Kosovo.

KFOR continues to carry out its mandate—based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999—contributing to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as ensuring freedom of movement, impartially, at all times. KFOR works closely with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
