Air force units from the United States, Switzerland, and Hungary, all part of Regional Command-East under NATO-led KFOR, carried out a joint international flight exercise at Camp Bondsteel in Ferizaj, Kosovo.
During the exercise:
- U.S. troops flew the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter,
- Hungarian troops piloted the H-145M,
- Swiss forces operated the AS-532 Cougar.
According to KFOR’s official statement on Facebook, the mission continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244, aiming to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo and to guarantee freedom of movement.
KFOR also reiterated its close cooperation with the Kosovo Police and EULEX in maintaining stability.
