UEFA Fines Serbia Nearly 120,000 Euros

UEFA has announced the sanctions imposed on the Serbian Football Federation following their match against Switzerland in Letzigrund.

The fines include:

  • 8,250 euros for fireworks set off by Serbian fans.
  • 25,000 euros for broadcasting inappropriate messages during the match.
  • 31,500 euros for objects thrown onto the pitch by Serbian supporters.
  • 50,000 euros for racist and discriminatory behavior by Serbian fans.
  • A ban on selling tickets to Serbian supporters for the next two UEFA away matches.
  • 5,000 euros for damages to the stadium.

Additionally, the Serbian Football Federation received three warnings for minor violations.

As a result of these incidents in Switzerland, the Serbian Football Federation is required to pay a total of 119,750 euros.
