The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, met with the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, to discuss parliamentary matters and the upcoming presidential election.
Hargreaves congratulated Haxhiu on her election as Speaker and noted that they also talked about the process for electing the next President of Kosovo.
“I welcomed the swift progress the Assembly has made in approving international agreements and the 2026 budget. We discussed the upcoming presidential elections and expressed the expectation of close cooperation between the Parliaments of Kosovo and the United Kingdom,” the British ambassador wrote on Facebook.
