Jonathan Hargreaves, the British Ambassador to Kosovo, has called on the newly elected Speaker of the Assembly, Dimal Basha, to ensure the full constitution of the Assembly as soon as possible.
Hargreaves expressed hope that the political situation in Kosovo will be resolved promptly to allow the Assembly and the new government to carry out their essential work for the benefit of all citizens.
“We agreed on the importance of the full constitution of the Assembly as soon as possible, respecting every decision of the Constitutional Court. We hope the situation will be resolved quickly, so that the Assembly and the new government can continue with the essential work for the good of all citizens of Kosovo,” Hargreaves wrote on Facebook.
He also stressed a vision for a Kosovo of opportunities for all citizens, underlining the importance of stability, rule of law, and adherence to constitutional processes.
