Caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a joint meeting on Monday with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Hargreaves, and the Ambassador of Sweden, Jonas Westerlund.
According to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, the meeting focused on current political developments, the completion of the December 28 election process, and the next steps toward the formation of new state institutions.
Strengthening Institutions and Cooperation
The discussion also covered the priorities of the future government and ways to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest between Kosovo, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.
“During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized his commitment to the rule of law throughout Kosovo, without discrimination or privileges, for all citizens and communities,” the statement said.
Economic Growth, Democracy, and Integration
Kurti highlighted the importance of sustained economic growth, social progress, and the advancement of democracy, reaffirming the government’s commitment to peace and security, public order, and protected borders.
He also reiterated Kosovo’s strategic goals of integration into the European Union and NATO, underlining their importance for long-term stability and development.
