Prishtina, Kosovo — The British Embassy in Kosovo has praised the coordination between NATO-led KFOR and the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in the recent search and rescue operation for the body of a 33-year-old man who went missing after jumping into Ujman Lake.
In an official statement, the Embassy expressed appreciation for the collaborative effort and commended KFOR for providing support and the KSF for its demonstrated capabilities during the mission, Rks News reports.
“The close cooperation between KFOR, the KSF, and other security responders, including the Kosovo Police and EULEX, is vital for the success of KFOR’s mission,” the statement reads.
Unlike the German Embassy, the UK did not comment on the political controversy surrounding the deployment of KSF troops to northern Kosovo.
