UK Embassy Donates Vehicles and Drones to Kosovo Police

The British Embassy in Kosovo has donated equipment worth €153,000 to the Kosovo Police, including two vehicles and 16 drones with accompanying equipment, aimed at strengthening border security and law enforcement capabilities.

The handover ceremony was carried out between Emma Huntley, a representative of the British Embassy in Kosovo, and Fehmi Xhata, Director of the Border Police Department.

According to the Kosovo Police, the donation will support police units in identifying, tracking, monitoring, and locating suspicious vehicles and individuals.

Officials emphasized that the specialized equipment will play a significant role in improving operational efficiency, particularly for border police units responsible for combating cross-border crime, smuggling, and illegal migration.

The Kosovo Police expressed gratitude to the British Embassy for its continued support and cooperation, noting that the equipment will help enhance public safety, border patrol operations, and overall service to citizens.
