The United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Karen Pierce, commented on the Ohrid Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, stating that the core issue lies solely in its implementation, as the agreement already contains many good ideas.

Pierce emphasized that the agreement addresses practical matters such as freedom of movement and representation.

“Many good ideas are already found in the Brussels and Ohrid agreements – it’s just a matter of implementation. These are not theoretical agreements – they talk about practical things like free movement, access, representation… We want to encourage politicians to help communities through their implementation,” she told BBC, as reported by Gazeta Express.

She further noted that a completely new approach or a “magic solution” is not required for the Kosovo-Serbia issue.

“I don’t think we need a completely new approach or any magic solution for Bosnia or for the Kosovo-Serbia issue,” Pierce stated.
