In a joint statement, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany have called on Iran to refrain from any further actions that could destabilize the Middle East, as regional tensions soar following the U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz emphasized:

“We have been consistently clear: Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon.”

They reaffirmed their support for Israel’s security and expressed deep concern over escalating threats in the region.

The leaders added:

“Our goal remains to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon,” and urged Tehran to re-engage in negotiations to reach a deal that addresses “all concerns related to its nuclear program.”

They concluded by stating:

“We are ready to contribute toward this objective, in coordination with all relevant parties.”
