The Ukrainian Ambassador to Albania, Volodymyr Shukrov, reportedly suffered a heart attack while visiting the tourist village of Voskopojë with his spouse. He was urgently transported to the hospital in Korçë, and due to the need for specialized care, he was later transferred to Tirana, according to TopChannel.
Authorities confirmed that Ambassador Shukrov was not attending any official work meetings in Korçë at the time of the incident.
Shukrov has served as Ukraine’s ambassador to Albania since 2020, representing Ukrainian interests and strengthening bilateral relations. His condition is reported as stable, and he is receiving medical care in Tirana.
