Ukraine’s military intelligence directorate (HUR) has released footage of a new successful special operation carried out by its units in occupied Crimea.
According to the report, fighters of the special group “Prymary” launched precision strikes against strategic Russian targets hitting both a military airbase in Hvardiiske and a Russian naval vessel in Sevastopol Bay.
The intelligence statement confirmed that Ukrainian drones struck a Russian military airbase near Simferopol, where combat helicopters were stationed. The attack destroyed at least two Mi-8 helicopters, each valued between $20 and $30 million.
Equally damaging, Ukrainian forces targeted a Russian naval tugboat, reportedly BUK-2190, located in Sevastopol Bay.
The “Prymary” unit is considered an elite force, made up of combat divers and reconnaissance specialists who undergo years of training and are equipped with some of the most advanced technology available.
