The United Nations Security Council will hold a closed-door session today on Iran.

The meeting was requested by Russia, which raised concerns over U.S.-Israeli strikes on civilian infrastructure in Iran, according to two UN diplomats who spoke on condition of anonymity, as the session is not open to the public, reported Times of Israel.

The United States, which currently holds the presidency of the Security Council, scheduled the meeting.
