At the major boxing event in England, where two Albanian boxers participated, everything spoke Albanian at York Hall Arena in London.

It took Nelson Hysa only 1.5 rounds to knock out his opponent, the Argentine Brakamonte, in the super heavyweight category.

This was an impressive performance by Nelson, who has won over 90% of his matches, all by knockout. After knocking his opponent down twice—once in the first round and again in the second—it was impossible for Brakamonte to continue in what was the main event of the long evening, which started at the most famous boxing arena in London and was broadcast live on Digitalb.

Before him, the first Albanian victory came from Alban Bermeta, a boxer from Tirana, who managed to win by knockout (KO) against the champion of Bulgaria, Mario Verger.

After 4 rounds out of the 8 scheduled, Bermeta knocked out the Bulgarian champion at York Hall Arena, bringing his record to 14 wins by KO out of 18 fights, while maintaining an undefeated streak with one draw.

After the match, Bermeta told the English media: “A huge thank you to the organizers and to the Albanians who came here. I’m so happy to see so many people from my country, as this is my first time boxing in one of the most famous arenas in the world. I was able to defeat my opponent because I hit him a lot in the waist and stomach area, which made him expose himself, and then I was able to knock him out,” said the Albanian boxer.
