The international community must finally grasp the reality that Serbia will not align itself as an ally or member of organizations like the European Union or NATO. Consequently, it is not prudent to risk another Balkan war over resources such as a lithium mine.
Regardless of the setting—be it cultural, sports, or political—there is a consistent pattern of violence emanating from Serbia. Violence is not just an occasional occurrence but the primary mode of communication known to them. Alarmingly, this inclination towards aggression is instilled from a young age, with children in kindergartens being taught to hate and be violent towards anything and anyone that is not Serbian.
This ingrained hostility manifests in the form of crimes, war crimes, genocide, and terrorism. In Serbia, terrorism has been institutionalized at the state level, posing a significant threat to regional stability and peace.
It is imperative that the process of denazification of Serbia begins immediately. Europe must play a pivotal role in this endeavor, providing the necessary support to ensure that it is undertaken swiftly and effectively. The sooner this process starts, the better it will be for the stability and peace of the entire region.
By addressing these issues head-on and understanding the root causes of the violence and hostility, the international community can take decisive steps towards ensuring lasting peace and stability in the Balkans.
