During the weekend of January 10–11, 2026, weather conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy, accompanied by rainfall and snowfall.
According to the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute, on Saturday light rain is initially expected, which due to falling temperatures will gradually turn into snowfall, especially in higher-altitude areas.
On Sunday, temperatures are forecast to remain below freezing throughout the day.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range between -6°C and -1°C, while daytime maximums will range from 0°C to 5°C. Winds will blow mainly from the southeast and northwest, with speeds between 1 and 12 meters per second.
“As a result of the precipitation, municipalities and relevant agencies are urged to remain vigilant, particularly in areas with weak infrastructure and settlements near riverbeds, as localized difficulties in normal water flow and road traffic may occur. The coming week is expected to be characterized by colder weather, with a further drop in temperatures and the occurrence of frost,” the statement said.
