The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) officially launched its election campaign in the capital for the October 12 local elections, presenting Uran Ismaili as its candidate for Mayor of Pristina.

In front of citizens, 56 candidates for the municipal assembly were also introduced.

PDK leader Memli Krasniqi expressed optimism for victory, emphasizing that the party has the best candidates and programs.

“It is the time for Pristina, it is the time for Uran. As a people and as a state, we also expect another victory—the victory of our liberators who are being held in The Hague,” Krasniqi said, amidst cheers from supporters.

He described Ismaili as “the best minister the Ministry of Health has ever had” and stressed that Uran Ismaili is the right solution for the capital.

With the slogan “Time for Pristina”, Uran Ismaili said he feels proud of the support and pledged to work with dedication for the city.

He emphasized that Pristina should not remain a city of basic challenges but should be transformed into a city of dreams for all its residents.
