After nine days of strikes and protests in front of the Pristina Municipality and the Government, the buses of “Trafiku Urban” have returned to service for citizens.
In an official announcement issued yesterday, “Trafiku Urban” stated that the outstanding invoices have been paid by the Municipality following the allocation of financial funds, IndeksOnline reports.
“Over the past several days, the suspension of transport was unavoidable due to the financial difficulties created by the Municipality’s failure to meet its obligations toward the company.
We express our sincere regret for the difficulties citizens were forced to face during these days without public transport service, and we thank them for their understanding,” the company said in yesterday’s statement.
