Senior diplomats from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt are expected to hold a meeting today in Pakistan to discuss ways to halt the conflict in the Middle East.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that talks will also take place with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in an effort to reduce regional tensions.

Meanwhile, the escalation of the conflict is having a serious impact on global markets, threatening the supply of oil and gas and creating instability in maritime and air transport—especially in strategic areas such as the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.
