US Congressman George Latimer praised Kosovo’s progress following a meeting with acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Latimer emphasized that Kosovo, as a young state, has taken significant steps in improving living standards. He also underlined Kosovo’s role as a key ally of the United States in safeguarding peace, prosperity, and democracy not only in the Balkans but also on the global stage.
The congressman further noted that strengthening ties between the US and Kosovo is a vital strategy for ensuring regional stability and enhancing international cooperation.
