U.S. Congressman Ritchie Torres, co-chair of the Albanian Issues Caucus in the U.S. Congress and a proud representative of the Albanian community in the Bronx, held an important meeting with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
In a social media post, Torres expressed his honor at meeting President Osmani, emphasizing the special relationship between the two nations.
“As Co-Chair of the Albanian Issues Caucus in Congress and a proud representative of the Albanian diaspora in the Bronx, I had the honor of meeting President Vjosa Osmani of Kosovo,” Torres stated.
He lauded Kosovo’s role as the United States’ strongest ally in the region. “The United States has no greater ally in the Western Balkans than Kosovo,” the congressman stressed.
