US President Donald Trump shared a video on the social media platform Truth, published by the government of El Salvador, showing the deportation of more than 200 suspected members of the Venezuelan gang ‘Tren de Aragua’ from the United States to El Salvador.

The clip shows images of the arrested men, whom Trump referred to as “monsters,” with their hands and feet bound, being led off an airplane and into buses by the police.

The video also shows the moment when the detainees are transported to prison in a large convoy of buses, escorted by police and military forces.

In the following footage, the arrested individuals, wearing simple uniforms, are seen kneeling and later dressed in white uniforms before being placed into cells.

This deportation operation of members of Tren de Aragua, a criminal gang designated as a terrorist organization by the US, was carried out following a direct request from Trump to invoke the Foreign Enemies Act of 1798.
