US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Anu Prattipati joined citizens in Kosovo in remembering the victims of enforced disappearances during the Kosovo war.
The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo reaffirmed its support for the families who, decades later, continue to search for the truth about the fate of their loved ones.
“We stand with the families who continue to seek truth and justice. They deserve answers about the fate of their loved ones,” the Embassy said.
The message comes as families of Kosovo’s missing continue to demand accountability and information about those who disappeared during the war. For them, the search is not simply about remembering the past—it is about obtaining answers, justice, and closure for the lives that were taken from them.
