The United States has presented a new peace proposal aimed at ending the ongoing conflict between Kyiv and Moscow. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce announced that a “framework for sustainable peace” has been officially submitted to Ukraine, Russia, and European countries, according to Rks News.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, reported the signing of a US–Ukraine memorandum on a minerals agreement, which is expected to be finalized soon. US officials have described this deal as essential to the progress of peace negotiations.

“President Donald Trump wants to end this war and has now put forward a framework for lasting peace for all parties involved,” Bruce stated.

She added, “The proposal was presented to Ukrainian and European officials in Paris.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also conveyed the same peace framework in a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

“Rubio spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The Secretary of State shared the same message with his Russian counterpart that the US delegation presented to Ukrainian and European representatives in Paris,” Bruce said.

According to her, the reaction in Paris to the US proposal was positive: “Encouraging responses to the US proposal in Paris show that peace is possible—if all sides are genuinely committed to reaching an agreement.”
