After twelve hours of negotiations, a meeting between U.S. and Russian delegations in Riyadh, aimed at finding a resolution to end the war in Ukraine, has concluded, according to TASS.

The Russian and U.S. delegations have agreed on the text of a joint statement, which the Kremlin and the White House will release to the media tomorrow, a source within the Russian delegation told TASS.

Representing Russia were Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, and Sergey Beseda, an advisor to the director of the Federal Security Service (FSB).

The U.S. delegation included Michael Anton, Director of Policy Planning at the State Department, along with aides to Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

Before the meeting, it was stated that the main topic of discussion would be establishing a ceasefire in the Black Sea, a matter previously discussed in a phone call between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
