The US Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated today that Russia’s recent attack on Kyiv indicates that Moscow does not intend to end the war through diplomatic means.
“Russia appears to be escalating, carrying out the largest strike of the war by targeting cabinet offices in Kyiv,” Kellogg wrote on X.
“The attack is not a sign that Russia wants to end the war diplomatically,” he added.
The nighttime bombardment of Kyiv and surrounding areas, involving hundreds of drones and missiles, is considered the largest aerial attack launched by Russia since the war began in February 2022.
