Ušakov: Putin to Meet Serbia’s Vučić During China Visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during his upcoming visit to China, announced Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov on Friday.

“After meeting with his counterpart from Pakistan, President Putin will receive Aleksandar Vučić,” Ushakov stated, according to Sputnik.

The discussions between Putin and Vučić will focus on the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, issues concerning the Republika Srpska, and bilateral cooperation between Russia and Serbia, with a special emphasis on the energy sector and other strategic areas of mutual interest.

During his China visit, Putin is also scheduled to meet with Xi Jinping, Narendra Modi, Masoud Pezeshkian, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Additionally, Putin and Xi Jinping will discuss relations with the United States and the situation in Ukraine, with a small-format meeting including Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov.
