Verica Ceraniq, a deputy from the Serb List, failed to secure enough votes to become the fifth candidate for Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly.
She was the fourth consecutive candidate from the party after the failures of Slavko Simiq, Zlatan Elek, and Liljana Stefanoviq.
In the vote, only 9 deputies voted in favor, all from the Serb List, while the rest voted against or abstained.
This marks another unsuccessful attempt by the Serb List to secure the position reserved for the Serb community in the Assembly leadership, as mandated by the Constitution.
