The Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV) has officially requested the annulment and repetition of postal voting for the February 9 elections, citing alleged irregularities.
In a complaint submitted to the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP), LVV’s Secretary, Alim Rama, stated that the postal voting process was compromised.
“We expect PZAP to annul the postal vote and demand a re-run of the process,” Rama told Koha.
LVV accuses the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) of manipulating postal ballots and has also requested a review of invalidated ballots, a request that the Central Election Commission (KQZ) rejected.
KQZ announced on Saturday that it is awaiting PZAP’s decision before finalizing the election results.
According to postal vote results:
🔹 LVV: 31,963 votes (51.57%)
🔹 LDK: 18,933 votes (30.55%)
🔹 PDK: 5,878 votes (9.48%)
🔹 AAK-Nisma: 2,000 votes (3.23%)
With all votes counted, the new parliamentary composition is expected to be:
✔ LVV – 48 deputies
✔ PDK – 24 deputies
✔ LDK – 20 deputies
✔ AAK-Nisma – 8 deputies
The final decision on LVV’s complaint remains pending.
