The Presidency of the Vetëvendosje Movement Center in Dardana, led by the head of the center, MP Mavriqi, in today’s meeting attended by Prime Minister Kurti, Organizational Secretary Rama, and coordinator of the centers, MP Zyba, unanimously and with unshakable conviction confirmed their support and at the same time decided to nominate Mayor Kadri Rahimaj for a second term, to continue the good governance for the citizens of the municipality of Dardana.
The local governance led by Mayor Rahimaj has brought investments in every corner of Dardana, across its neighborhoods and villages, in all areas—such as in education with the construction of two new kindergartens and care for students’ health and healthy nutrition, in sports where construction has begun for the country’s first athletics stadium and the stadium in Kika, in road infrastructure where the paving of roads in villages and neighborhoods is continuing, and on the other hand, the 50.4 km border belt is being paved, which will increase security and also develop tourism, and investments in securing drinking water, where 6 villages have been connected to the water supply network and the water supply system is being built in Karaçeva.
These and many other projects under the excellent governance of Mayor Rahimaj and his team, along with the support of the central level, are clear indicators that Dardana needs the Movement because it needs its vision, which is based on the citizen and turns their taxes into investments for well-being and development.
The Vetëvendosje Movement in Dardana and across Kosovo, with its organizational structures, has begun tireless work for our victories in the municipalities, which are needed by the Republic and by the citizens, needed by the villages and neighborhoods of the cities, all across the country. It has been proven that the local governance model led by Vetëvendosje, as in the case of the municipality of Dardana, is the most suitable. Therefore, we move forward with strength.
