In Vitia, the runoff race is extremely close. The difference between the two candidates is only 197 votes, while 552 diaspora votes are expected to be counted today—potentially enough to overturn the result.

LDK candidate Sokol Haliti has 8,352 votes, while VV candidate Arsim Ademi has 8,155 votes, reports Indeksonline.

Since the number of postal votes exceeds the current margin, Vitia remains the only municipality where the outcome could change completely.

The CEC spokesperson, Valmir Elezi, confirmed that the counting of diaspora ballots for the second round in 18 municipalities will begin today at 10:00 AM.
