Vjosa Osmani Holds Farewell Meeting with Aivo Orav as His EU Mandate in Kosovo Ends

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a farewell meeting today with the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, marking the end of his diplomatic mandate in the country.

During the meeting, President Osmani thanked Ambassador Orav for his engagement and contribution during his service in Kosovo, highlighting his role in strengthening cooperation between Kosovo’s institutions and the European Union.

Osmani emphasized that the European Union remains a key partner for Kosovo and that European integration continues to be a strategic objective of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the Presidency’s statement, the discussion also focused on the importance of continuing close cooperation between Kosovo and the EU, particularly in advancing democratic reforms, strengthening the rule of law, and supporting the country’s economic development.
