Vjosa Osmani Highlights Kosovo as a Historic Success in Global Forum
Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, recently participated in the closing panel of the Halifax International Forum, under the theme “The Age of Optimism: The Future is in Our Hands.” During the panel, Osmani emphasized Kosovo’s remarkable success, describing it as one of the greatest achievements in modern history. She highlighted the resilience of the people of Kosovo and the strength of alliances based on shared values as key elements of this success.
In her speech, Osmani praised Kosovo’s example as a demonstration of perseverance and cooperation between nations that value freedom and democracy. She stated, “Kosovo’s journey stands as a testament to the strength of its people and the power of alliances rooted in shared principles.”
Following her participation in the Halifax Forum, President Osmani is on a work visit to Colombia. As part of this visit, she is scheduled to meet with Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro and Senate President Efraín Cepeda. Additionally, Osmani will attend the International Conference on the Prevention of Sexual Violence. In this capacity, she will be a keynote speaker at the conference’s opening ceremony and will also take part in a panel discussing the plight of children who survive sexual violence during conflicts.
The President’s visit marks another step in strengthening international relations and advocating for global peace and security, with a focus on human rights and gender justice.
