Two German tourists were rescued by the Vlora Police after their sailboat became stranded since last night at the mouth of the Seman River.
According to an official statement from Vlora Police, the operations center received a report that a sailboat flying the German flag, carrying two citizens onboard, was stuck at the Seman River estuary and required assistance.
Preliminary checks revealed that the sailboat had departed from Corfu, Greece, and due to terrain conditions, it became stranded in the area since the previous evening.
“Both individuals are in good health and will be assisted by the Vlora Port Authority for further actions,” the police statement said.
