Von der Leyen Visits Serbia, Vucic: Feel at Home, We Will Have Important Discussions

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has arrived in Serbia, where she was greeted at Nikola Tesla Airport by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

In an Instagram post, Vucic expressed his welcome: “Welcome to Serbia, esteemed President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. It is a great honor to host you again in our country, and an even greater pleasure to show you the progress Serbia has made since your previous visit.”

Vucic also mentioned that he expects to have important discussions with von der Leyen regarding Serbia’s relations with the EU and its progress on the European path. “Thank you for your personal commitment and support for Serbia thus far. Feel at home here,” Vucic emphasized.

Von der Leyen is on a working visit to Serbia and is scheduled to visit Kosovo tomorrow.
