Vote Counting Completed in 21 Municipalities Across Kosovo

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that as of 9:30 p.m. last night, the verification and counting of votes have been completed in 21 Municipal Counting Centers (QKNs) across Kosovo.

CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi confirmed the progress, stating that vote counting was finalized in the following municipalities:
Hani i Elezit (Monday), Junik, Mamushë, Zveçan (Tuesday), Mitrovica North, Zubin Potok, Deçan, Shtime, Klinë, Shtërpcë, Obiliq, Istog, Skenderaj (Wednesday), Viti, Rahovec, Suharekë, Dragash, Kaçanik, Lipjan, Fushë Kosovë, and Ferizaj (Thursday).

Elezi explained that each Municipal Counting Center carries out three key activities:

  1. Verification of results from the mayoral elections.
  2. Verification of political entity results from the municipal assembly elections.
  3. Counting of individual candidate votes for municipal assembly seats.

He emphasized that the process is being conducted with transparency and accuracy, and the CEC’s official results platform continues to update live with data from each polling station as results are confirmed.
