Vote Counting for Persons with Special Needs Completed, Announces Central Election Commission

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the counting process of ballots cast by persons with special needs has been officially completed at the Counting and Results Center (CRC).

“The Central Election Commission informs that today (Wednesday, 22 October 2025, at 20:30), the counting process of ballots from persons with special needs voting, conducted outside polling stations through mobile teams, has been finalized at the Counting and Results Center,” the CEC stated.

Additionally, the CEC provided details about the ongoing recount of votes from several polling stations across different municipalities.

“At present, at the Counting and Results Center, the recounting of 16 ballot boxes from 12 polling stations in the municipalities of Deçan, Gllogoc, Gjilan, Lipjan, Prishtina, Prizren, Shtime, and Suharekë is underway,” the statement continued.

The final election results will be announced after confirmation from the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) and the Supreme Court, confirming that there are no pending cases under review, the CEC concluded.
