Vote Counting in Gjakova: VV Leads with 47.78%, AAK Second with 19.51%, LDK Increases by 7.8% Compared to 2021

The vote counting has been completed in the municipality of Gjakova, which had 145 polling stations.

According to preliminary results from the Central Election Commission (CEC), the leading party in this municipality is the Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (VV) with 47.78%, followed by the AAK with 19.51%, LDK with 16.26%, and PDK with 10.11%, reports Reporteri.net.

When compared to the 2021 elections, VV saw a decrease of 4.47%, AAK decreased by 4.1%, while LDK showed an increase of 7.8% and PDK increased by approximately 3%.

The counting of candidate votes will begin tomorrow, along with the verification of party results.

“After completing these procedures, including counting votes from outside Kosovo, provisional votes, and votes from persons with special needs, as well as other aspects provided by the Law on General Elections, CEC will announce the final results for political parties and candidates for deputies,” CEC officials clarified.
