The former Chief Prosecutor of Prizren, Sylë Hoxha, has commented on yesterday’s operation by the Prizren Prosecutor’s Office against individuals suspected of vote manipulation.
He emphasized that the Central Election Commission (CEC) cannot avoid responsibility in this case.
Speaking on Tëvë1, Hoxha stated that the CEC should have exercised greater caution in certifying election commissioners.
“The CEC is also linked to this and must bear responsibility, because, as was said, even family members of candidates were involved. Beyond political entities and candidates, I believe the CEC should have known whom it was licensing and who would serve as commissioners,” he said.
